About us

We are a fully licensed kayak and paddleboard hire centre based on the Isle of Bute. Since 2021, our little slice of paradise has been serving up adventure & fun by the boatload 12 months of the year! We offer a wide range of high-equality equipment perfect for beginners!

At Bute paddleboards, we pride ourselves on safety and fun, that is why we have our safety boat at the ready and waterproof walkie talkies are given to each group. We always choose our location based on the weather conditions on the day be it, the stunning Ettrick bay, scenic Loch Fad, beautiful Kilchattan bay or bonny Port Bannatyne.

we offer a wide rage of wetsuits that can be hired separately or as part of a package. We also have winter wetsuits available so the Scottish is never an issue.

At Bute paddle boards we have something for everyone. From bodyboards for the wee ones to party boards for hens, stags and families (these boards carry up to 8 people !) Due to popular demand in 2022 we introduced kayaks.
